MODE WIEN @ ORF Lange Nacht der Museen 2026

Mode Wien präsentiert eine Symbiose von Kunst und Mode in Kooperation mit der österreichischen Künstlerin Sabine Wiedenhofer und der Pop-up-Ausstellung „Fe-Dom“ – eine Arbeit über Wahrnehmung, Weiblichkeit und die Kraft, sich der eigenen Identität bewusst zu werden. „Man kann Frauen formen, bewerten, verhüllen, reduzieren oder zu Bildern fremder Erwartungen machen. Doch ihre Würde, ihre innere Kraft und ihr Wesen bleiben unantastbar“, so Wiedenhofer. „Fe-Dom“ begreift feminine Identität als etwas Eigenständiges und Unbeugsames – als Ausdruck von Stärke, Individualität und selbstbestimmter Präsenz, jenseits aller Zuschreibungen und Inszenierungen.
SKIRTOLOGY erzählt die Geschichte des Haute-Couture-Rocks als kunstvolles Meisterstück und Bühne für die außergewöhnliche Handwerkskunst der Wiener ModemacherInnen & DesignerInnen. Weiß steht dabei für Reinheit, Präzision und zeitlose Eleganz. Gleichzeitig eröffnet die monochrome Farbwelt den Blick auf das Wesentliche: Konstruktion, Silhouette, Material und handwerkliche Perfektion.
